This conference offers opportunities to network with professionals from cities, counties, districts, and community organizations as well as a space to share stories, successes, and strategies for empowering Oregon’s Latine communities. Elected officials, government employees, students, community leaders, and anyone committed to supporting and elevating Latine voices in local government are welcome and encouraged to attend.

- From Aspiration to Impact: Strengthening the Latina Leadership Pipeline

Andrea Osuna will share her professional journey into higher education and reflect on the experiences, challenges, and motivations that shaped her leadership path. This session will examine the importance of Latinas pursuing higher education as a strategy to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of future leaders in both higher education and local government. Participants will gain insight into how representation, mentorship, and intentional career development can expand opportunities for the next generation. Attendees will leave with a renewed understanding of the collective responsibility to cultivate Latina leadership across sectors.
- Economic Development for Rural Business Communities and Local Government
